Reminds me of an old cartoon commenting on behavioral conditioning:
One mouse says to another, “Boy have I got this guy conditioned — all I do is push this bar down and he drops in another piece of food!”

If this comic had continued, I’d hate to see how her daughter turned out. Happy Sunday, Cathy friends!

Indeed … I guess we see who the true master here is.
(Doesn’t take much in Cathy’s case, but still.)
HI, MOM. Good Sunday Morning, “Cathy” Clan.

That’s exactly how I trained my cat not to ask for food. Wonder where Cathy and I went wrong?

While it’s really difficult to look into the big, hungry, pleading brown eyes of your beloved pup, it’s best to NEVER get started feeding them food off your plate to start with. It not only encourages endless begging [a terrible habit that’s hard to break], but it can also be deadly if you’re not careful. Some of the many things we enjoy eating and don’t think twice about — chocolate, grapes, raisins, garlic, onions, fish, mushrooms, macadamia nuts, just to name a few — are quite safe for us but they’re extremely dangerous for our dogs. If you’re lucky, the least harmful thing something can do is make them sick for a little while; if you’re unlucky, you wind up with a dead dog instead. Why would anyone who loves their pet want to live with something like that for the rest of their lives? I know I wouldn’t want to!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
