Ok, Irving, I find myself shockingly on Cathy’s side on this one. Everybody likes to think their pain/problem/situation is so unique, when in fact everything’s been done/felt/experienced before!

Well, Irving, unless you’ve got ED or a “man cancer” of some sort, Cathy may very well have already been through whatever it is you’re currently going through now so give her a shot and let her in. You might be surprised at just how much she can help you if only you’ll let her. Look at her. Even though you’re being a real jerk right now, she’s still there for you physically, so allow her to be there for you mentally and emotionally, too. I can pretty much guarantee that you’ll feel a whole lot better about your “situation” [whatever it may be] if you do.
