I can relate, Cathy!!! However, I stick to tea, so I don’t have your problem. Just plain tea, no sugar anymore! (My Sweet Tea Southern relatives are probably rolling in their graves, LOL)! I hope everyone will have a great day! Just think, tomorrow is Friday! ;)

It’s just a matter of retraining your taste buds and stomach, Cathy. 18 ounces used to satisfy you and now it takes 120 ounces? And all that creamer is unnecessary if a few drops used to taste good. I’m also a tea drinker and never put sugar in it. My children do the same (mostly herbal for them). Meanwhile, we had a tea party with their cousins one time and their cousins added spoonfuls of sugar to their tea and still claimed it wasn’t sweet enough. It’s all what you get used to. They say that diet soda has the same effect: even though it has zero calories, it still increases your appetite and creates that craving for more sweetness. It’s hard to get off that cycle of wanting more sweet.Hello Cathy clan! Happy Thursday! For some reason, I think Thursdays are the most peaceful weekday day and usually enjoy them. Have a good one!

And, If you walked the 14 miles, you wouldn’t need the six cups of coffee – so bonus!

How slowly are you walking that it takes you 14 miles to burn 880 calories?

Thank goodness I don’t drink coffee. While I like the smell of it, I don’t like the taste of it — even with additional additives like sugar or creamer to make it less bitter. As for tea, I really love the stuff but I try to stay away from it. I can’t drink it unsweetened and because I seem to have trouble stopping at just one glass, the only way to avoid packing on a few too many extra pounds [like I’ve done in the past] is to avoid drinking it all together.

    Hi, rgcviper!

Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Freezing my rear-end off here in southern Indiana today. Weather.com says it’s 31° but feels like 21°. Apparently, someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it’s November here . . . not January! Pretty depressing considering the temps were in the mid-60’s just a couple of days ago. :-(
