When my IS (Irish Setter) Katie gets home from the groomers, she smells just as sweet…and her fur moves in the most gorgeous way! Beautiful…and breath-taking! If you like to watch the Westminster Dog Show held in NYC, watch for the Irish Setter in the Sporting Group…you’ll see what I mean…unbelievable ! ;)

Dogs hate sweet and fluffy. Daisy, pictured left, immediately “breaks in” her recent bath with a roll in the yard.

We’re this way with our dog, too. We have dinner with my mother every Sunday night so whenever [our dog] gets her once-a-month Saturday afternoon bath, I always let Mom know so that she can be sure to smell just how wonderfully sweet her “grand-dog” is that day [not that she ever stinks, of course, but a freshly washed dog smells a whole lot cleaner than one that last had a bath 2 weeks ago]!!!!! :-)

    Hi, rgcviper!

Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Only 2 more days now. Is everyone ready?!? ;-)

I used to have freshly washed cats…..and I’ve got the scars to prove it. I’ve kinda given up on that adventure in my old age and just let them take care of it most of the time (unless it is absolutely necessary).
