Charlene: I once took FIVE pairs of shoes on a two-week trip. My husband had a fit! Blonde: I took five pairs of shoes on a one-week trip and bought two pairs when we got there! My husband went berserk! Cathy: I took eleven pairs of shoes on a three-day trip because HA, HA!! Who was going to see or care??! I've found the one area of life where single women can always feel superior.

You won’t be single for long Cathy! I only took two pairs of shoes on my five day trip partly because I don’t have a lot of shoes and partly because I don’t have real luggage but mostly because all I needed was a casual pair and a dressy pair. Oh wait, I took three – almost forgot about my bowling shoes.

Lucky me. My husband doesn’t care how many pairs of shoes I pack for a trip — nor does he seem to care when I bring a new pair home. Of course, I hate shopping for shoes (and clothes) in the first place, so unless it’s for a special event of some kind, it’s not something that happens very often anyhow . . . even if he did care.

I pack my clothes for conventions (4 days) so I can take one pair of shoes. Comfortable ones for lots of walking.

AACK. Personally, I wear one main pair of shoes, aside from slippers and occasional flip flops/sandals. As I like to say: K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Stupid.) … :)
