Cathy: Your children can't be that old, Andrea! Andrea: I know. It happened so fast. Cathy: If they're that old, then I'm...I'm... Andrea: I know. Believe me. Cathy: If they're that old, what's a baby toy doing on your sofa?!! Oh. Zenith: Here, Aunt Cathy. Want one?

Yes, Cathy, you’re that much older, too. Deal with it.

I know and understand the feeling all too well, Cathy. One minute you’re a fresh-faced 20-year-old bride and then, the next thing you know, it’s 26 years later and you’re thinking: “I’m HOW old now? OMG! How in the hell did that happen?! Just where, exact-ly, did the time go anyhow?!” That’s why you’ve got to love and savor every single minute of every single day because they just fly by so quickly….. a little too quickly unfortunately.
Hi, rgcviper!

My niece is 15 years younger than me. Her oldest son is turning 18 in November.

I can really relate to this strip today. Was talking with a couple of teenagers who are helping with the summer drama school for kids production. They asked how long I have been doing lighting for theatre. Took me a minute but it has been 50 years – and there is NO way I am old enough to be working in theatre as a hobby for 50 years! But then my older daughter will be 36 this year. Where have all the decades gone?

Time’s fun when you’re having flies.
WAAAIT a minute …

I don’t notice so much that my life is racing by, but I sure notice it when I look at my nieces & nephews. I do, however, wonder where this year went.

I’m feeling the same way, my 3rd son is going away to college next week and my oldest daughter who was finally born after 4 boys (3 born to me, 1 bonus) just started high school. Time really flies. I’ll admit that I did things backwards and started having children young so I’m not that old but I’ve had gray hair for awhile.
Hi Cathy Clan, enjoy your day!
