This is usually more true for customer support… for sales, they usually answer on the first ring..Hello Cathy friends!hendelca, that sounds like such a lovely wedding! This is why I take care of as many things as possible online – although that’s pretty hard to do when you’re trying to order internet. :-)

Even worse than long hold times is getting an auto-attendant that is so poorly designed that you cannot figure out which menu option you should choose. Or wading through menus which takes a lot of time then get put on a long hold waiting for a real person.

As for Cathy’s Mom…she doesn’t realize she is lucky to even find a phone number and even better that it got answered at all.
