Personally, I hate shopping, and do as little as I can possibly get away with. Some of my T-shirts are twenty years old – if they still fit, I’ll still wear ’em.
Once again, if the pants say they’re Irving’s size, they’ll fit him. No need to take ten pairs into the fitting room, or even one! Obviously Cathy is unused to shopping with men.
Fun? Why would anyone consider this FUN?!? I’m with Irving on this one. I can’t stand shopping to begin with and given how clothes are made for women these days, it absolutely IS a night-mare having to try on several different sizes of everything you like in the hopes that at least ONE thing will fit you correctly. If only I knew how to sew, I’d just find patterns I liked and make my own clothes . . . clothes that would be well-made and look good on me all the time. Definitely an idea that I may look into trying one of these days! ;-)
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hello and Happy Saturday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone’s been having a really great weekend so far! :-)
Nope, not me either, Anona Mouse. I know exactly what stores and brands fit me and what sizes I wear, and that’s all I buy. I’m in and out of stores (if I even go). In fact, my husband takes longer to shop than I do. And it’s not entirely true that men’s clothes are easy to shop for. Sure, the pants are easy with waist and length sizes, but other sizes (s/m/l) can be fitted or relaxed depending on who makes them. My husband tries on more clothes than I do..Hello Cathy clan! Happy Saturday!!

YOU might, Cathy! But some of us have more sense.

Again … is it bad that I can perfectly relate? To Cathy, I mean, not to Irving?
