Ugh, this would have been my MIL. Fortunately, we don’t talk much due to the language barrier, but she definitely spoiled my husband (which he denies) and she definitely thinks he is perfect (as the oldest son, he gets favored treatment). On the other hand, I’m the foreigner who took her son and we just do things differently. I don’t really care how she does things, but it gets tiring to deal with her sometimes. She also irons everything, so this one speaks to me haha!

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great day!

Guess I was lucky. Neither my mother nor my mother-in-law cared what we wore or looked like so long as we visited them. With all the travelling we do now I got pretty good at packing my own suitcase so things don’t wrinkle too badly.

I hope everyone here has a great sunny day – no matter what what the weather may be.

Most hotels provide an iron these days…Let him pack his own….HOWEVER…I do understand the feeling that his relatives are judging you…for me, my mil was fine, it’s the Martha Stewart sister-in-law that is impossible.

This is the opposite of me and my bf. He does all the ironing. I never iron.
