If she looks around a bit more, she’ll see there are plenty of full sized veggies out there. And fruit isn’t a bad thing, so don’t make it out to be. Lots of vitamins and antioxidants to be found in both.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!
I have a feeling it is not Mother Nature that is producing supersized fruit or high gluten flour for that matter. When we use genetic selection, or even genetic modification (which is kind of a super speed genetic selection), to increase yields to feed our over populated world that is one thing, but when it is used to produce products that are sweeter so people will buy them to make the companies more money that is another. And that concludes my mini-rant for the day.
While it’s better to eat an orange than drink orange juice, there is still a lot of sugar in fruit. Diabetics do need to be careful. Try telling my mother-in-law that. We both have diabetes Type II. She has to take insulin, I do not. Guess who eats fruit in moderation.

Sign of the times. Anything leading you towards something bad sounds more ominous with a ‘Mc’ in front of if. In my case it was Mcwife.

If it’s a giant orange, just eat half.

Yeah—keep telling yourself that, Cathy.
