You’ve been married for almost four years now, Irving, and you STILL haven’t figured it out? No matter what you do or how you do it, it will ALWAYS be wrong!

My husband lays on the couch and watches TV while I do the tree. Keeps the “me being right about how to do it” tradition intact.

Why doesn’t she just do it herself. Be less stressful on both of them.

After doing it all myself for all my married life living with a Scrooge, I now do not “do” a tree. I don’t miss it, nor does anyone else.

Ah, yes, that was my married life exactly. That’s when I started hating Christmas. Thank god that was over 45 years ago.

Somehow over the years I have become the expert at tree decorating. It started with just the tinsel long ago but now I end up doing the entire tree myself. I don’t mind though, this way I can insist on a real tree every year. We did get the real tree yesterday so all set.

Rain last night, freezing overnight, and snow now. Back to real December weather today. I hope everyone here has a stress free day.

[Sigh] Maybe you should just stick some ornaments and tinsel on her, Irving. Then both of you would be a match made in heaven.

    Nut-job alert, line one …

    HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.

Hubby puts up the tree, puts the lights and star on it, I do the rest…well, sometimes he helps with some of the ornaments.
