Cathy never does learn to quit while she’s ahead. I do feel that Irving is a better husband to her than he was a boyfriend.

I have a $25 scratch off winning lottery ticket I have been saving. I am going to buy myself $25 worth of supermarket flowers for the big day, because I really, really want to!

My late husband *hated Valentine’s Day. I always thought the fact that he died on February 13th was significant…

Irving is much wiser than I expected. He did not say that he did not want to celebrate Valentine’s Day. That might have proved to have been a big mistake.

I don’t celebrate the day anymore. Got tired of it being 100% one way. I thought the day was for couples, not just wives. I will be taking her out to dinner on Friday though – we will in North Bay for the afternoon since my car has to visit the dealers to replace a seatbelt. My wife will be at the mall (since we no longer have one – and even when we did it was much smaller) and I get to visit my lighting effects supplier. Should be a good day.

Speaking of days, I hope you enjoyed today.

I got divorced from my first husband on Valentine’s Day…with this husband, I plan to go to the Folky Valentine Concert in Ann Arbor on Friday….if I can get myself into the Ark.
