Cosmetic work is usually for the benefit of the person that the work is done on. My husband is happy with what I look like. It’s me who would consider doing something minor to freshen me up.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Hope you have a great day!

My DH’s eye sight is poor, so no need to spruce up for him. I do it for other reasons. ; )

My wife does the makeup thing before going out even though I think it entirely unnecessary – so she is obviously doing it for herself. Me, on the other hand, do not care what I look like but my hair can only be so long, my clothes must match, and she has even tried to get me to use makeup to cover up some of the worse red splotches on my face before I go out (note I said tried . . .) so she is doing this for her too. Ah well, make live more interesting I guess.
A beautiful sunshiny day – but way below freezing. Perfect for the middle of February. I hope you had sunshine in your life as well.

Personally? I woulda been out of that store in a heartbeat after panel 2—or more accurately, during it. Though, when viewed from our heroine’s famous Whack-a-doodle perspective, not a bad gag, I suppose. You win some … you lose some?

Cold here too, hendelca…down to 2 F tonight. I still dress up a little to go out but I have what we laughingly call “dressy sweats” which I actually do pay quite a bit for and the sometimes even have a seam sewn down the front of them.
