I do admit that I find yard sales fun. Tacky, but fun.

My cousin was put in charge of the yard sale once. A pile of dishes had a sign saying $1.00 on it. He sold the whole kit and caboodle for a buck. Of course when my Aunt came back she gently told him it was supposed to be a dollar a piece. She let him go fishing.

My husband and my mom love yard sales. I have personally never seen the attraction, but my very practical hubby doesn’t bring home junk, so that’s something.

I’m happily getting rid of stuff these days, but occasionally I will acquire something that I really like. I figure that I’m getting rid of a lot more things than what I’m adding (by a good portion!), plus what I’m getting is something that I REALLY like and will be part of my future look.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

I have never been to a garage sale to buy anything, figured I have way too much stuff here as it is. I have started on cleaning things out. I have actually emptied two small bins in the lab. Only about 70 to go. Anyone want an ancient VHS titler? It is a neat device that allowed you to put titles on your VHS home movies. Used once – a few decades ago. Hmmm, there are about 6 VHS recorders in there too. I will give them to electronic recycling after I finish copying all the VHS tapes to DVD – only about 50 to go. My daughters are hoping I get most of the disposing done before I die as they certainly do not want he job.

Sunny and very warm today. Unfortunately that means I had better service the irrigation pump. My wife does not think brown is a good colour for grass. I do suspect the seed that was planted over the repairs to the drainage trench would appreciate a little water today.

    Have a happy day today.

Sounds like the giant Stuff Swap-Out. Whatever pops your weasel, Irving’s mom …
