I’ve never understood why they don’t make the ‘gray gradually’ type of hair treatments for women?

I have never colored my hair…and probably never will.

I like my hair color, I am just disappointed with the density and migration pattern.

These two just need to do stuff separately sometimes. Like how recently there is a phrase, “Alone together”

I will color my hair as long as I can lift my arms to comb it.

I would think that Cathy is the type to spend gazillions on a colorist at trendy shop. She doesn’t come across as a do-it-yourself girl.

Mother Nature colours my hair – and she has changed it a few times. Red when I was born, brown by my teens, added grey in my 30’s, and now mostly grey – what is left as she also removed a lot of my hair over the years.

Empty nest syndrome all over again. My older daughter and her two dogs left for home an hour ago and already the house seems really empty.

I used to color my own hair because the salons wanted too much money to get it done there. Then it became such a pain that I quit doing it altogether. Even though I’ve got a few more “wisdom high-lights” than I’d like, my hair is still mostly brown so you don’t really notice all my strands of silver “glitter” that much unless you’re standing a lot closer to me. Guess I’ll have to wait and see what it eventually looks like before I decide whether or not to continue letting nature take its course or if it’ll be so ugly that I’ll have to start coloring it again (at least a little bit anyhow).

I used to color my hair myself because it took too long at the hairdressers. Then I found a hairdresser who said she could help me go gray without looking weird, and she did it. The only thing I found a little uncomfortable was that I had always had really dark brown hair, and suddenly my hair seemed so light even tho it was mostly salt and pepper. I’ve gotten used to it tho, and I’m quite happy I finally ditched the dye.
