Mr. and Mrs. Hillman, Irving, Cathy, Dad and Mom: The kabocha squash soup with creme fraiche was excellent! I loved the rosemary-pancetta smashed potatoes! The pine nuts were a perfect touch on the braised beans! The pomegranate-pistachio poached pear salad was amazing! Mom: So many "foodies", so few "cleanie-uppies."

In our family, we try to make everything with the big TG meal (prepping, cooking, cleaning) a team effort. This technique works well, and we all contribute to the process. Works for us …

Happy Thanksgiving to folks who are celebrating…our day turned out to be very nice. Little bit of parade, lot of cooking, walk afterward, a little TV, and a phone call from family members.
