Cathy: Scoot over, honey. I want to put my feet up. Irving: That's a "bonus legroom seat". $75 extra. Cathy: Never mind, I'll just move the dog and sit on the end. Irving: "Aisle seat", $20 extra. Cathy: Where am I supposed to sit? On the floor in front of you all? Irving: "Bulkhead seat". $45 extra. Cathy: I've already paid a fortune to get to sit in this place! Irving: But you haven't paid extra to reserve a "good seat" yet. If you haven't paid the "good seat" fee, you have to take your chances and get whatever rejected seat is assigned to you, which may or may not be anywhere near a loved one! Cathy: My loved one's just spent way to long trying to book plane tickets online! I'm sitting in my car and driving to the mall until he calms down! Irving: "Exit row seat", $50 extra.

Good timing for this arc. I just booked flights for our September trip to Walt Disney World. Had to check the sites for two airlines to compare flight times not prices. Ended up with Westjet as Air Canada has not yet resumed their morning direct flight from Toronto. Prices were a little higher but not so much that I settled for an evening flight. And no trouble reserving seats – without paying any extra as most of the seats were not yet reserved. Now just hoping that covid restrictions are not reinstated so we can actually take that flight.
