I have more in common with Irving than Cathy. The only shoes I ‘pack’ for a trip are on my feet.

I disagree. One pair is not enough if you are going to do a lot of walking on your vacation. Your feet really appreciate a change of footwear partway through the day.
It is a beautiful day this Saturday. I hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy it.
