Mom: I've told you for years you were taking too many pictures, but you wouldn't listen! What on earth will you do with so many pictures?!? ...Look at your pretty smile in this one! ...Look how your eyes sparkle in this one! ...Look at the cute way you turned your head! ...Look how lovely you are! I just want to squeeze you! Dad: When mother says there are too many pictures, she means there are too many pictures of other things besides her baby. Mom: Are there any more of you?

As a scuba diver I have taken lots of pictures, and videos, underwater. I quickly noticed that people appreciated them more when they were in them.

I hate pictures of me. I am not photogenic at all.

Indeed … balancing pictures with people vs. scenery can be delicate. Photos are often more meaningful with people in them, though the natural environment is nice for a switch sometimes, too.
I know a thing or two about this, too, since I took three trips to Europe with my college (a. Italy & Greece; b. 8 countries in 15 days; c. England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales). All the trips were awesome. I took a TON of photos on each, with a decent balance between people and scenery. Great times.
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, “Cathy” Clan.
