I don’t mind looking at some pictures to get the highlights, but I don’t want to see allllll of them. I honestly don’t recall the last time I showed my photos to others, unless they asked.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Well, Jr is at college! It was a 9ish hour drive, then shopping to fill in the gaps, then we got her settled on Sunday. She hasn’t started classes yet, but will be studying mechanical engineering. She was able to move in early due to an engineering group who is doing introductory sessions before school starts. So she has been busy with that, and hopefully she will feel comfortable knowing what’s going on and knowing some people beforehand. I miss her, but am excited for her in her new adventure. :-) Have a great day, all!

The “why you shouldn’t” is this…you’ll lose what friends you have.

See Irving, as I said yesterday, I have cat pictures. Lots of them, and stories about them, as well. You might not want me to look at pictures of you lying on a beach with your laptop on, worrying about your job.

TANSTAAFL. If something said to be free there is always a hidden cost. I am glad Irving realized just how high that cost is in this case.

I am glad Jr is able to settle in before the start of classes. That should make it a lot less stressful for her – and the college system does seem to be able to cause a lot of stress. Happy you had a good trip and are back safe and sound.

I’ve never met her, but I know that she’s a strong, smart, capable, determined and fiercely independent young woman that will one day be ready, willing and able to take on and conquer the world. How do I know? Because she has YOU for a mom! I know you love her, miss her, and are probably even a little bit concerned about her being so far away from you and your husband for the first time in her young life. But don’t worry, Sis. Because of you, she’s got this! ♥
