I did Information Technology support for a company with a hundred computers. One of the engineers started insisting he should not have to wait for any kind of support. It took 30 seconds to remote connect to his computer. The next time he insisted on special privilege, I asked how the search for Filipino mail order brides was going – never gave me any hassles after that.
Well, I’m glad to know that I was (sort of) wrong yesterday. I thought he was stalking her for creepy personal reasons. Turns out, he was just stalking her for creepy business reasons instead. But still. He seems to be getting a weird, extraordinary amount of pleasure out of doing it — which is taking his I.T. “job” to a whole different level of super-ickiness for me! :-P

Irving is right – if Cathy is using corporate equipment for personal reasons she should expect to be monitored. But I agree that Irving is definitely singling Cathy out as I suspect all the other people in the office are doing the same thing. A very crude way to get a girls attention.
It finally stopped snowing. Enough fell last night that it took another 2.5 hours of plowing to do two driveways. Definitely running out of space to put the snow. Ah well, spring will be here soon and it will all melt away – eventually.
