Cathy’s “I don’t like to wear logos” statement actually surprises me a little bit. For someone who loves to go shopping for clothes, shoes, boots, purses, bathing suits, etc., as much as she does, you’d think that she’d have a closet full of nothing BUT designer brands like Dior, Chanel, Fendi and Louis Vuitton. After all, only the absolute best will do for our favorite little shopaholic. Right?!? ;-)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
.
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow Cathy fans. Have a really great day everyone! ♥
I found a very suitable heavily-pocket jacket in a nice subdued color. It had everything I wanted except the brand name in orange over a chest pocket in inch-high letters. Nope. I’m not a billboard.
I once found some shirts that fit me well and were in colours I liked, but the only downside was that it had the manufacturer’s name embroidered (not hugely, but annoyingly) on the pocket. I asked the salesman if this could be removed, say with a stitch picker. He replied that he had himself attempted this, and it left behind a messed-up strip full of holes.
Never understood the conspicuous display of logos on clothing – well maybe if someone wearing the logo entices others to purchase clothing with the same logo. Glad most of my cloths are logo free – except jeans as they don’t seem to come without a logo.
I buy what I like…sometimes it has a subtle logo on it, usually not. What I really don’t like is ads (like Coke, or other products) splayed across the front or back of a garment.

Doesn’t Cathy know that it is unlucky to open an umbrella when you are inside a building?

Ow—ow. I felt my brain pinch after hearing the logic (or lack thereof) of these salesladies. Ha.

Ya know, if she put a taxi sign on her hat and grabbed a wheelchair she could make some extra money LOL.
