Now that I think of it, I’m surprised there wasn’t more weight loss during the pandemic. I mean face masks, restaurants closed, stores shelves empty. I’d a thought everyone in the world would go down a size or two.
Cathy has a good point. If the extra calories don’t make it in, then there’s no need for tummy control. What works for me is not buying most of that stuff to begin with. Although it is nice to indulge from time to time… okay I admit that I have chocolate daily. :-)

Try duct tape. If it can’t cross the lips, then it can’t settle on the hips ….. and thighs ….. and butt ….. and stomach ….. and, well, you all get the general idea of where this is going! ;-)

I managed to loose weight (about 5 lb) over the pandemic. Of course that was in the last 7 months when I started to do lighting for productions again. My normal diet keeps my weight constant but when I am spending days in a theatre I tend to eat fewer and smaller meals. That and all the climbing ladders and stairs does allow me to drop a few pounds (or kilograms). Now to keep it off in the quiet summer months.
It seems I lost a day. Thought this was Monday. Must be the 15 hrs in emergency staring at 10pm on Sunday. A back muscle decided it was going to spasm every time I moved. Not fun at all. I suspect the loss of yesterday was from the morphine they gave me for the pain (Tylenol did not work at all). Not taking it today so the day is a little cleared. The sad part was cancelling travel plans that would have started on Sunday. Rather depressing that is.
