I remember that Frontier Airlines, in the 1970s-1980s, had pretty good food!

They definitely don’t serve food on a 3 hour plane ride anymore. Usually only for much longer flights. Maybe that’s a blessing in disguise. ;-)

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!

The best meal I had on a plane was travelling via Atlantic Airways on a 2 hour flight from Copenhagen to the Faroe Islands. Excellent meal served on real plates with glass glasses and steel cutlery. Note this was not first class as the plane did not have class sections – essentially everyone was in first class and was treated like it. The flight lasted over 3 hours though as we circled the Faroe Islands for a while seeing if the fog would lift over the airport. It did not so we ended up back in Bergen Norway for the night. We were put up in an excellent hotel with a fantastic buffet breakfast – at no extra cost of course. Evidently this happened quite often which probably explains the higher than expected fare. However, in the end I had no complaints about the price of the ticket as we were treated so well.

Another Thursday and more need rain. It is a great day – I hope your day is great too.

Books, notepaper, and food all shape the airline experience—not to mention seat mates. When you put everything together, never a dull moment onboard …
