Welcome to camp boring. Take a nap then stare at the wall until it’s meal time. Repeat. …sort of my retirement plan.

Most of that is fine with me because it is mostly scheduled. What I enjoy on vacation in a new place is to wander around and explore. Try new things. Eat different foods. Get the vibe of what kind of place it is. There’s always something interesting to find and do.

It gets pretty bad when you realize that what you most wanted to get away from was you . Let that sink in for a few days until you start to feel better and enjoy different experiences.

I’m all in favor of vacations (and one is sounding really good to me right about now). However, I gotta have some routine wherever I go—even if I make it up, myself. Otherwise I feel pretty lost.
