There was a time when I dated a number of 22-year-old women in Santa Barbara. At that age, just out of college, loose in the world, such a woman is brimming over with potential – no divorces, no children, no mortgages. Ah, but potential is no replacement for character and it doesn’t pay the bills. (I am sure young men are much the same). :)
Well except for dogs (I prefer cats) and impeccable taste (although I did marry my wife) that could have been me many decades ago. I did live alone but in a fully furnished, including the dishes, apartment so did not have any of them. Oh, I did have towels and sheets.
