Transcript:
Arlo: A tablespoon of onions?! You need at least a cup!!
Arlo: Fat-free cream?! You MUST be joking!!
Janis: You know, forget my suggestion!
Janis: You might as well watch sports!
A TABLESPOON on onion? Every recipe I’ve ever seen has dealt with onions as proportion of a whole one based on the rough size. Ie, “chop half a medium onion” or “slice a whole large onion”.
That is what the Food Network has done with Iron Chef, Chopped and a lot mof their newer programs. They have taken an often boring but informational program and converted it to a spectator sport. Not that I am complaining, I enjoy them.
Yeah, “fat free cream” is just another way to say skim milk. I’f I need milk, tell me that, if I need cream, then I need CREAM. But I can think of using tablespoon of minced onion as a garnish.
