“Twin Peaks”, “Dune,” “The Elephant Man,” “Inland Empire,” “Mulholland Drive,” “Blue Velvet,” “Eraserhead,” “Wild at Heart,” “Lost Highway,” “The Straight Story”, what’s not to understand? David Lynch also does voice cameos on “The Cleveland Show”.

I’m surprised Cynthia didn’t choose a director of street traffic.

Just how many Lynch movies is she allowed to see? Eh, I guess she doesn’t have to see any to research him. It’s not on par with Bart Simpson dressing up as Alex de Large.

simpsonfan2: “I’d pick Mel Brooks. Not just a director, but a producer, actor, songwriter, writer…”

Lynch does all those as well. Have you checked out his album “Crazy Clown Time”? Fantastic stuff (although it’s as unsettling as you might imagine).

Lynch also produced a comic strip for a time, “The Angriest Dog in the World,” and that’s a field which Brooks has yet to assay (so far as I know).

I don’t always know what Lynch is doing, but if he’s the one doing it I’ve always found it worth checking out at least once.

Haha. Neither do I. I don’t watch movies, although I did read the book, “Dune,” and have the soundtrack of the “Twin Peaks” movie, which is really good.
