Is Bobby just dumb or something? This peacock isn’t in a cage. How can Scott “let” him see it? Maybe Bobby’s not thinking clearly after his demotion to the second string, which I imagine would be the players in the mesh jerseys.
Ludicrous- adjective1. causing laughter because of absurdity; provoking or deserving derision; ridiculous; laughable: a ludicrous lack of efficiency.Ex. This storyline is ludicrous.
Hey Neal and Rod, let me get this straight… Bobby is mad because Scott won’t show him his “bird”.. and Scott wants to keep his Pcock under cover. This stuff is Pulitzer !!!!
Meanwhile, as they sit in a nearly vacant Bucket, Doyle Dane is showing Dinny Perez the latest dance craze come Spring….The Baseball Bop. Coach Glory sits nearby, hemming her well worn softball pants. Wanted to give you guys something to look forward to.
Yeah! I was the only one to predict that he would accuse Fowler of wanting nobody else to shoot well by hiding the bird. Well, maybe not the only person. Well, maybe everyone thought that.
Jack Berrill dealt with topical isssues all the time and I am sure he would would resent that it says Neal and Rod “created” this comic strip as you can read on this site daily. Jack created the strip, Neal and Rod are the current writer and artist, but did not create it. They did give us peacocks that teach shooting skills and bikinis made out of cardboard. Absurd is a matter of opinion , but I for one would rather break out my books of Jack’s work any day. I still read this, but it is not the same to me. The art work has improved, when our current artist began it looked like Japanese animation.

Jack Berrill would be mortified by this story line, absurd is a good description in my opinion.

Jack Berrill did story lines far more absurd than this.
