Sorry boys, just having a preacher doesn’t make it legal. You don’t actually need one of those at all. The only requirement for a legal marriage is a properly filled out license. In this case $100K probably isn’t sufficient to get one of those.

How far is it to Dogpatch? Marryin’ Sam doesn’t bother with that license stuff. I do however. In Missouri it’s a $500 fine for performing a wedding without a license. When I was there I always gave the couple the choice of a license or $500. They always chose the license.

How stupid can this strip get? I miss Skeezix and Uncle Walt.

Getting really bored with Rufus and the other guy. Let’s get back to Walt & Skeezix. Even Slim & Clovia are better than this.

So many good tales to tell and so many neat characters to choose from. What was Jim thinking when he came up with this awful story arc?

I have tired to stay with this strip but if the story line does not change in the next few days I am removing it from my list.

I grew up on this strip and was excited to see it on GoComics, I’m not a prude or anything but I’m disgusted by this storyline.
