Looks a little like a computer was used instead of being hand-drawn.

I’m getting comic is currently unavailable. Not a good start

Cartoonacy…right on. Emmy Lou and Marty Links were cartoon and cartoonist of yr in 1972. Nice to see someone knows!

1. I would have lead with a joke that was not so anachronistic. Or are maxi coats a thing again? 2. Whatever that font they’re using has to be changed. it looks woefully amateurish. Just a step above COMIC SANS. 3. Don’t forget to edit — I’ll (add apostrophe)

I first heard about Emmy Lou on Archie’s TV Funnies in the 1970’s.

Can’t wait to see what else Emmy Lou comes up with!

Well, the strip at four-twenty-five Eastern is better than the one at seven-thirty Eastern…

I remember this strip when it was in those things called Newspapers! Feeling my age now but love the strip! Anyone that says otherwise, you’re free to skip it. :)

It’s a nice cartoon and I tried to read it whenever I could (mainly in re-prints as neither of the Cleveland papers carried it in the late-1960s/early-1970s); but please, GoComics, don’t try to pass this off as “new”.

Wow! How great to see Emmy Lou alive and well! My family loved her. Thanks to whomever activated our good friend. I have told many people just today about her revival and they all remembered her! Looking forward to much more! Go Girl!

Wow! I wouldn’t have expected to see this show up here. I knew there was an effort to try to revive awareness of the character of Marty Links’ work. Guess this is part of it!

Emmy Lou goes all the way back to 1944. It was originally called “Bobby Sox” (for the bobby-soxers phenomenon.)

I thought it was an interesting turn of phrase… if this was first posting, it wasn’t very strong, hope the following posts make me laugh.

Actually, Marty Links was doing Emmy Lou long before the 70’s. I was a teenager in the 60’s in San Francisco, loved Emmy Lou and Marty Links lived around the corner from me.

The one for Aug. 4, 2019 is from Aug, 8, 1956. Could those be put on?
