This arc reminded me to sign up my new phone on the Do Not Call list.

Is the little man in the phone related to the Tidy Bowl Man?

“Doesn’t work, I still get them. And how come all the companies calling to clean my ducts have Indian (from India) telemarketers?”

Most of these calls seem to be coming from a US phone, but they’re actually being patched in from overseas (i.e. India, Singapore, The Ukraine, etc) Putting your phone on the “Do Not Call” list doesn’t make any difference to these people. Secondly, they’ll use one number for a few weeks then switch to another “throw-away” phone number. Plus, they’re using robo-dialers. Just get Caller ID and don’t pick up. If .you want, you can look up the number on Google and read the comments. These numbers that are from “Unknown” or whatever almost always have a comment thread.

It is very rare for me to get a telemarketing call.

Indie was named after the family dog, that would mess with Bucky’s head.

The only dialing for $’s guy that leaves me a message is the one who works for our local football team. And yes. I will be buying a 3-pack game package. I already knew that before he called..It is what voice mail is for – if you want me, leave a message.
