Actually, once again there is a bit of Detroit in this. Falafel is one of the things you can find everywhere there.

That’s one strip this dude can’t abide.

That which does not kill me…is only prolonging the torture.

I have never had falafel, even during my tour of Iraq. I asked one native about me and he scoffed at the inquiry.

I’m almost done reading “Thus Spake Zarathustra”. I highly recommend that nobody ever read it again.

I thought this was good, right up to Caulfield’s last comment. Then I put it in my favorites!

This one is pretty good. Nothing wrong with a good pun in the morning.

That is what I love about Mallett. The first two panels would be at home in a Pearls Before Swine (yes I know Pastis and Mallett are friends), but the third panel takes it so much further. I love both strips by the way.

Oh man I just got it… GROAN!!!

Had to say that one in my head several times before I got it.

I know many people think it’s a joke, but I was working in a record store in ’78; we were playing a Beatles album and a kid was genuinely surprised to learn that Paul McCartney was in a band before Wings.

it took me way too long to get this one, then again I think I’ve only seen the word falafel in reading and never actually heard that. Don’t quote me on that though, more likely is that i had a brainfart.
