    Another seen before painting. Back then, 2 paintings were shown in the same strip (the only time, so far, that that has happened). Mr. Melcher’s online book shows a cropped image.Emperor Otto IV (link shows his Wikipedia page, Catholic Encyclopedia bio) isn’t, as far as I can tell, shown online by its possible current-location, or it might be privately owned, included in a series of 9 portraits sold in an auction held there.4 years after the auction, it was part of a 8/8/09-11/8/09 exhibition (described in a book; perhaps it says where the painting actually is), held here (Google translated), celebrating the 800th anniversary of his coronation. So it may be part of its permanent historical exhibition (Google translated). The artist’s Google translated German Wikipedia page and collection.
