I view adult full immersion baptism as OK if that is the ritual of the faith family you are joining. It’s not about the water or the age, but the love. Being a Presby PK, I got the infant dribble, and I am sure that is OK with my congregation and God. Even when there is incense, it’ss not about the incense!

Even as a believer of baptism by immersion myself, I find that joke kind of lame.

Hmmmm. Our church is too high for sprinklers to be effective.

But more to the point than the details of how the water is encountered is the intention—to be born “from above” by water and the Spirit.
