She was asking Ox if he’d like to be Delta’s dream man.

Bernice was asking for Delta.

At least neither of these 2 will do anything to hurt Ox.

i used to laugh at the way abe vigoda used to say “Bernice”. i can almost hear delta say it the same way…

…Well, Delta wanted a man who’d help her do good. Ox is…certainly that.

I feel so bad for Ox. Sure, Bernice is digging at Delta, but it’s at Ox’s expense. Delta’s reaction makes me shake my head because I get the feeling she’d never go for someone who wasn’t perfect (nee: impossible), especially a thick ole teddy bear like Ox.

Something has to backfire here. Bernice appears to be messing with both Ox and Delta. I think Delta is more aware that Ox has feelings that could get hurt real quick in this situation. I don’t see Ox and Delta as an item. However if Ox is sharp enough to catch onto the game, he could make this pretty interesting for a few days.

Don’t worry about Ox’s feelings, he’s clueless as to what Bern is really saying, or he’d be looking at Delta. Ox is only thinking about the do nice things for old people part. In some ways, Ox reminds me of “Big Moose” from the Archie comics (Big dumb jock with a crew cut and a giant head) ; the main difference is that Ox is a GENTLE giant, thus a lot more likeable!

So good to see Ox again! Delta should take a clue and cast around for people who WANT to help. Imagine how much more fun everyone would have!

Oxford is such a pure and honest soul! Bernice jabs at Delta, insinuating Oxford could be the Man of Her Dreams; Delta doesn’t buy it (at least for now). In fact, Oxford and Delta might make an interesting couple….

Whatever the interepretation of today’s strip, it made me smile.

No, Bernice is NOT trying to set Delta and Ox up. It was meant as a dig at Delta. However, the joke may end up being on. Wouldn’t be funny if Delta and Ox really DO become an item?

I think Delta and Ox would be very nice together.

OK now that we are back to weenie world I wonder if Gregg is going to explain why and how TJ and Ann Awful left. I would have mad TJ manager. At least he would treat the employees right. Good for you OX. I wonder if Delta is jealous.

I think everyone is missing the point of the last frame. Bernice is just illustrating that anyone could get Ox to agree to anything if it sounded good to him. The subject didn’t matter.

is what Delta said she wanted, not “fall in love with someone who wants to help out in the world” but “find someone who wants to help out in the world, and make him my life partner”………. looks like Ox fills the bill

I think it was kind of mean for Bernice to say that, because she is implying that it is obvious that Ox is not good enough for Delta.

I don’t see Delta and Ox as a likely couple, but there is plenty of good to be had there. Ox would get someone who would give his skills a meaningful direction and make him proud of his accomplishments. Delta would get someone who wants to go along with her projects, would call her on it when she gets out of control, and would take care of her when she hurts herself overdoing it.

Thought Ox was suppose to become the ying to Tiffany’s yang?

Bernice didn’t want to make baskets for the elderly, and she assumes no one else will. She doesn’t have to act like such a B… because she’s wrong! Many teenagers want to help out.

Ox? Well beats the hell outta dating a pompous dull guy, anyway!

I think Ox is going to assume that Bernice is asking for herself, and he’s going to put a big bear hug on her Monday.

This senior citizen would like an Easter basket that had a couple of bottles of bourbon in it. But I bet Delta isn’t going to think of that.
