Summum- a unique company based in Salt Lake City mummified dead people and pets in the style of the ancient Egyptians! The longest sausage in history, made in Sheffield, England, in 2000, was 36 miles long! Vittorio Brumotti of Italy, cycled up 3700 steps to the top of the tallest building in the world- the Burj Khalifa in Dubai- in October 2012!

I’m planning on visiting my older brother in SLC next month (for his 30th birthday); I’d like to see that mummifying business as a side trip. And FYI, non-LDS, LDS don’t actually mummify their dead.

Summum isn’t a business, it’s a religion. They have a pyramid in an industrial area off of Beck Street.LDS dead are embalmed like anyone else. Usually buried wearing white clothes, a white bonnet and a green apron. Cremation is seriously frowned upon among the LDS.

I don’t think there is much difference between a sausage and a mummy.

That bicycle must have been ‘tired’.

What was that sausage stuffed with? And did anybody dare to eat it?
