Goodies reference!
What is that thing?
The phrase was around before the Goodies. Does that trandem still exist?
“Ger” some sort of sign? Does she mean to throw a Teutonic javelin at the sign?
I was prompted by fond thoughts of the infamous Jewboy’s mama (Nu! I’m a Jew, I’ll make all the Yid jokes I want!).
I have no idea what an Ecky thump is and this strip still tickled me. Ger, however, looks like a typo common to people learning touch typing. (r and t right next to each other)
modern life
The appearance of “ger” in today’s strip is dedicated to the memory of copyeditors and proofreaders. (Christi nailed it.)
The Christmas pudding or the one from Bexhill on Sea?
Queenie once had a dream about an encounter with a big sausage. It wasn’t quite like this, though…
Forgot all about that pudding. Thanks for the memory.
Wait til you find out about “haggis.” Religion will not be a factor in your reaction.
