I love this little character. He reminds me of my son at that age….long ago.

I think they’re just plain sick. He won’t be getting their vote if they have one.

Today, they would have to accept his poster, lest they infringe upon his sensibilities, his First Amendment rights, and stifle his creativity.

To the principal’s office it is, then . (Lord of the flies?)

I’ll second that.

The whole idea about posters in general is to get your attention and retention. I think that this one does that very succinctly.

I like everything about it! First, his enthusiasm for a school project is really good, and should be encouraged. Then his message is right on, and the graphic illustration brings home the reality of the consequences of careless behavior. No question, there is unlikely to be any other entry worthy of winning first prize!

Thank you Calvin what it looks like to be road kill…. Now go to the principles office…..

Well you have to admit, they won’t soon forget his poster.

In the real world, with a good teacher, this poster would get good marks. It’s graphic, it’s clever, and the message, “Be careful or be roadkill,” makes sense and would appeal to kids.
