I can agree with skin on pudding. When I was a kid I used to shake the pudding out of the mold. Skin at the bottom, problem solved.

Subtitlers who can’t spell.

In the Twix/Car Dealership episode in the 8th season of Seinfeld, Jerry makes a speech about how people have to put their foot down when things get out of hand. The list was prompted by “the high five”, and included the phrase “Don’t go there”, and “air quotes”. Funny that Calvin had Seinfeld beat by about 8 years with the air quotes (item #6 on his list).

Agree with #6, a very annoying (American) habit.

Don’t look now but I think Hobbes just hit a home run.

What about Susie Derkins? He didn’t mention her….Oh wait, she doesn’t bug him, he likes her.

It looks like all of the previous “Tea Party” comments by Omnius have been deleted. Perhaps he has been blocked from posting on Calvin and Hobbes because so many posters were flagging him.

I’m surprised he didn’t put Susie right at the top.

Raisins are fabulous! First you macerate them in rum for an hour, then you make real ice cream with them. A raisin couldn’t wish for a happier end.

I love the skin on pudding. When I was a kid I got really mad when my mom started buying instant pudding that didn’t form skin. And I love raisins too. I sprinkle them on almost everything.

I never thought of my wife as Hobbs.

I agree with many of the other previous comments. The skin on pudding is the best part. I’m always disappointed by the pre-made pudding on store shelves, because they’ve changed it so it never gets a skin (and doesn’t even taste like real pudding anyway).
