I think the colors are WAY less intense, this strip being in black and white. @bluskiesYes, it is ours to judge. We do that with the money we spend; what we spend, where we spend it, and what we spend it for. We do it every day.
@bbadenov: Calvin is putting his finger over his mouth as he says “Shh,” but he is so short that the arm of the chair didn’t leave Bill Watterson much room to draw his hand.
I have to disagree with many of you. 1. Women themselves know when there is one hotter than they – they are great judges of looks and how to enhance them. 2. Many homosexuals had the tendency to go either way, it is not ALL from the womb for some(I do not know, I couldn’t give a percentage)3. Homosexual for the most part, know what women are hot, I have heard a few quip about not being gay, if they could have THAT one.
I am not homophobic, I certainly wish for people to be able to find a fit in society. Not being homosexual is an easier life for most, if they are those in #2
It’s not that old, they just have the C&H strips listed by the date that they first appeared in papers as well as any dates that they have appeared on gocomics. I find it much easier to look them up by their original publication date.

Speaking of casual observers, it looks like Calvin has become one in the last panel.

You must know, what’s going on for reacting in the right way! When you don’t know, what’s going on, you can never act right.

I agree Calvin, reality is boring. But you have to admit it’s the only place where you can eat marshmallows in hot chocolate.

Who would have guessed the ‘little stinker’s’ favorite commercial would be a deodorant commercial?

Reality TV…Calvin’s a genius.

Calvin has a magic watch that only appears on his wrist when he needs it. The watch is gone again in the fourth panel.

I like the fact that if the TV or radio is not turned on and you’re not passing a billboard, that life can go by without a single commercial.

@GROG: Unless you are a GoComics user without a “Pro” subscription.

If life were like TV it would have a laugh track.

I replied to you late last night. You might enjoy some of the links I posted.

I beg to differ with Calvin about the colors bit, even by 1993 standards. Life has some interesting colors itself that TV still cannot replicate.
And you want stuff going boom and people dropping dead nearly nonstop? Juárez has a place for you, I think. (No offense to anybody from there.)

I’m not really much of a TV Watcher but if there’s one thing I hate it’s adverts.
Some of them I don’t mind but others I just turn the sound off until the programme I’m watching comes back on.

I’ve gotten good at ignoring advertising for the most part.

You tell ’em, Calvin!!
Deodorant commercials are really good now! Sometimes better than the shows that interrupt them.

When Calvin said the people are uglier I think he was talking about his teacher and Moe. Just saying.
