Adam@Home by Rob Harrell for January 17, 2010
Transcript:
Adam: Phew! Look at look at all these credit card bills. Laura: I can't. It makes me angry. Adam: We need another source of income...and to cut back. Laura: So? Any suggestions? Adam: I say we start a family band. We'll trade in our minivan for a school bus and travel the country bringing delight to our fans. Laura: Didn't we agree that you wouldn't make any more household plans based on 70s TV shows? Adam: Did we? Laura: Yes. Adam: So. I'm guessing you do don't want to hear my plan B. Laura: Only if it involves you becoming "The Six Million Dollar Man". Adam: Cha-cha-cha-cha-chaa. We can rebuild our credit. We have the technology.

“Phew! Look at look at” that redundancy! Until now, I don’t think I’d ever seen a goof-up like that in a comic strip.

toysurfers - you beat me to it… I was just about to say the same thing. The least the writer could do is reread the strip!

Adam’s just stuttering in the first frame from the shock of the bills.”look at look at”.

I say your Partridge Family scheme would end up costing you more in the long run.

I like Adam’s pose in the last panel. I’ve heard they’re going to do a remake of the 6 million man.

The Family Band idea won’t be practical at least until Nick is old enough to hold a tambourine…
Speaking of Nick, that’s an area where Harrell has yet to hit his stride. Basset drew Nick with a distinctive identity, but Harrell, when he includes Nick at all, just seems to use him as a prop for Laura to hold.
