Cats can be a delight, but I find that an awful lot of them are quite vicious. The feral ones on my property decimated the bird population until we took drastic measures.
My Siamese (who is gone, but was a real character) always signaled his displeasure about riding in the car by “watering” the mat on the passenger front seat floor. Every single time.
When I have kitties that have passed and feel comforable with getting another kitty (kitties) I go to my neighbor and get the new born ferals they usually have. When I adopted a year ago I got 3 brothers.
A comment on the cartoon — Walky looks perfectly friendly. He ought at least be glaring a Oogie. A comment on other Comments — is this the place to criticize the nature of cats, or man’s treatment of them? Or even to suggest Fagan doesn’t use a carrier for his vet visits. This is not an educational forum, after all.
I have two cats. I can get the tabby into her carrier on vet day without much of a struggle. With the black and white one, its like a Benny Hill chase seen, only with hissing!
Dogs also kill things. Cats should be indoor only for their own safety. My cat rides in a carrier, but we used to have one who traveled wonderfully in the car loose,…was just curl up and go to sleep. We took him with us everywhere and found motels where they allowed animals. He would explore the room, then settle in his kitty bed that we took with us.

Yeah, sure, bother a dog while he’s eating, and he WILL bite you.

Even a cardboard box will do. It’s better than nothing.

If he’s smart enough to speak english, then he should know that going to the vet’s a good thing for him :P. They also need a kennel for him.

That horrible woman needs to take her own cat to the vet. A witch should take proper care of her familiar.
