My big dog, Toby, has a thick undercoat. He refuses to wear anything over his natural coat, no matter the temperature. My dachshund, Molly, has a thin coat. She will tolerate a cover when we go out to walk, but she prefers not to wear it. Her little body is always toasty warm.
Toby even refuses a blanket when sleeping. Molly will burrow under the covers with me to sleep, I think mainly because I can’t push her needy self away when I am asleep. I let her, any way, because she lays her toasty body against my arthritic knees, and it feels so wonderful!

It’s difficult to go out in that weather, but once you’re out there and come back in, it’s great and is very invigorating!

What’s with the Brits and those ugly boots? I know the weather isn’t great, but those boots????
