Cute. Very cute. Every time you mention Cheez Doodles, I have to buy myself some.

From the topic yesterday of school subjects, what Nate, students and school boards fail to understand is that ALL subjects are necessary for proper brain development. Brain connections in one subject are influenced from connections made in others. For example, music helps with math concepts.

Nate is a politicians’ dream. Concentrates on unimportant stuff instead of being an educated, informed voter.

Nate’s either going to grow up to be a Weatherman, a Sports commentator or a comic-book artist.

Well, first of all, I’m not related to Franklin Pierce because our last names are spelled differently. And they’re pronounced differently, too. He was “pierse” and I am “purse.”
And yes,he was a real person. In fact, he was a president of the United States. He is widely considered one of the five worst presidents in US history!

Franklin Pierce, a 19th century president guy, Nate…..not, uhmmm Lincoln Peirce. This is like the time he was supposed to write a report on Pluto, & Mr. Galvin said: Please say you DIDN’T do a report on the Disney character. But no! Nate did his report on………..Bluto!! Chortle! CHORTLE!!

Oh, this is too funny. I missed that the first names were different. I thought Lincoln injected himself into the strip and had Nate ask, “Who’s he?”

I think it may have something to do with keeping rhythm. But, like I said the mose unlikely associations help each other.
