It’s still “their song”. My daughter and I have a special song -“She’s Always17” by Harry Chapin.

Today’s Ziggy has a man coming to collect royalties for the song Ziggy sang in the shower. I was wondering about that when I read this strip.

Good one, Imanartisthoney! My father had “My Pretty Girl” played on one of my birthdays. I used to sing "K-K-K-Katy to my granddaughter Katie when she was a tot. Special songs are really special for kids!

In the movie Yankee Doodle Dandy George M. Cohan (played by James Cagney) comments that he was in his teens before he realized that the parades and fireworks on the 4th of July weren’t to celebrate his birthday.

I used to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to my youngest son when he was a baby. I doubt he remembers that, but thanks so much Robb for that GREAT memory! BTW my oldest son is Rob! :-)
