Gracie: There are no dark, sinister reasons for this. It's just what I want to do. I have no reason to lie. Very simply, I'm only a little girl one time, and once I miss that opportunity, I can't get it back. So, after much thought, I have determined that the demands placed upon me and the commitment to the kind of work that needs to be done are not a good match anymore. I can only say that sometimes, in the end, powers beyond our control lead us down different paths in life, and the time has come for me to move on. Therefore, with much regret and sadness, I announce my resignation from this position effective immediately. Baldo: I am not scrubbing that pot! Gracie: I do it for the children!
