That can’t be physically healthy. Probably does wonders for the soul, though.

As long as it’s not lightning, I’m just fine with that. Usta do it myself!
And bigg, I know about them floods. Got my picture in the paper rowing a boat up our street after Hurricane Irene. Oodles of fun!

johnnydoc5: getting wet is physically unhealthy? News to me. I used to play in the rain every time it started, haven’t died yet.

They dance in the rain like Gene Kelly who danced in the rain at the movie. What is joyful to dance in the rain?

I used to float the irrigation ditch on a home-made scrap wood raft.

I didn’t play in the rain because the thick glasses I wore would get wet and useless, but I’d go out afterward and find mud and make faces and other things out of it. I wanted to see what it looked like dry, but could never find anything. I still don’t know if they just disintegrated or if other kids mashed them.

bigg3469, we had rain with the flood thing a couple times in Amherst, NY, that’s near Buffalo. Swam in it too.
i used to play in the rain on the east side of buffalo when i was growing up, we used to get what we called sun showers, the rain was falling and the sun shining at the same time, i left the area for 40+ years but now i am back in Tonawanda

I always loved playing in the rain. I still go for walks in the rain once in a while. Thunder storms I enjoy from inside. Most of the time.

I remember one downpoour here they said it was a “hundred year storm” I was too upset to go out in it….had a major party planned and had to sit down and call about 100 people and cancel….had spare ribs stocked up for the BBQ at the party. Ate ribs till I couldn’t stand them anymore. The party never was rescheduled

What nice grandaunt-grandnephew-grandniece time they’re having out there.
Even for gorwn-up Baldo and Tía Carmen, it’s feels good to relive your niñez (childhood) by playing in the rain.
¿Habéis vosotros la niñez de Miguel J.? (Have you seen Michael J.’s childhood?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVJscGa5vbc

Bigg, that is creative. Farren, you must have a strong immune system, because I remember me and the siblings always getting sick after playing in the rain. Unless it was summer, perhaps I should have specified.
