I’ve long since given up on the main strip, which jumped the shark back in 2008 with the Great Washington Trip BoreFest. But it’s nice to be able to see these and remember how good it used to be once.
I used to live there, and when I visit now, I seemasses of people on the streets walking and talking on their cells to masses of people who are walking and talking on the next block over.
20 years later and I still dream on occasion that the bus is approaching and I don’t have my shoes on and I run out barefooted and get on the bus with my shoes in hand. Waiting on the bus was always a stressor for a little kid.
I remember the bus honking for me a couple of times. Once I was sick and I wasn’t going to school that day, and I had to poke my head out the front door and wave it on so they would stop honking and waiting for me. I never knew they would wait for me, but just my luck when I really needed them to wait they wouldn’t!

Do they honk in your neighborhood? Not ours. But that would be annoying at 6:50am.

Maybe Brad is just messing with Luann and she did not actually miss her bus.

My bus stop was a half mile away. I couldn’t see it drive past if I missed it.
