Oh, sugar! Ah, honey, honey! You are my candy girl!
Check the nutrition labels. A lot of breakfast cereals are over 1/5 sugar, and some are over 50%.
Eat oatmeal. It’s easy on the digestion and you can control what you put in it. A little honey is good.
Cereal grains, like most carbs, are quickly converted to glucose (sugar) in your body.
Complex carbohydrates and protein are the way to go. Simple carbs like sugar quickly raise your blood glucose. No wonder why diabetes is prevalent amongst Americans(and lots of the other than rural world) today!!
Why are you eating a big bowlful of “Chocko-Yums”? Because Calvin has already eaten all the “Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs”!
